Warm Streak to Continue in Vegas

When it seems that the rest of the country is getting destroyed by the blistering cold weather, Vegas is having the opposite. This afternoon the temperature is expected to reach around 65 degrees. With very little wind and no wind chill Vegas has been able to experience nicer weather than most parts of the country.
According to the Weather Service Las Vegas is showing average temperatures around 10 degrees higher than the average in past years. The weather service said a weak storm system will move across Lincoln, Clark and Mohave Counties today, resulting in a chance of light showers over the mountains. But otherwise, high pressure will continue to create dry conditions and above-normal temperatures today.
