Way beneath all the rock and dirt of Vegas are around a dozen active fault lines that release earthquakes almost daily. Since the earthquakes are low magnitude most people never feel them but according to CSN geology instructor Dr. Shroba it might be a sign that the crust is accumulating and releasing energy.

With the aftershocks being very small it is not a huge threat but one cannot help but wonder if a stronger earthquake were to occur what would happened.
